The Airedale Terrier, commonly called the King of Terriers, is the largest of all terrier breeds. Airedales are loyal and loving companions, and they make great family pets. They possess athleticism and are highly trainable, leading them to excel in a variety of dog sports, including obedience, agility, and tracking.

The Airedale is a hard-working, independent, and athletic dog with a lot of drive, energy, and stamina. Training an Airedale requires variety and positive reinforcement methods, such as treats, to keep them engaged. Avoid drill-and-jerk training, as it may not yield the desired results with this breed.
